APS5 Financial Accountant

Our client, a large government department requires the services of an experienced financial accountant for a permanent position.
You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of financial statements on a monthly basis. Other duties will include preparation of journals, reconciliations, analysis of monthly reports, raising of invoices and maintenance of the fixed asset register.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and report writing skills along with proven problem solving skills.
