Joinery Foreman

This leading joinery manufacturer requires a Foreman/Supervisor for their base in Canberra, their core business is Kitchen manufacturing and installations.

In this role you will be required to supervise production staff, plant, and on-site teams in the manufacture and installation of high class joinery. You will encourage the growth of the business through faultless performance both in terms of quality and delivery, being responsible for:

• Building and maintaining the company culture within your team;
  
• Lead and manage a multi-discipline team;
  
• Manage production output and budgets;
  
• Review and change suppliers;
  
• Efficiency of the production process;
  
• Product quality;
  
• Health and Safety;
  
• Compliance issues.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• In-depth knowledge of Joinery, Cabinet making or Carpentry;
  
• Unrivalled production supervision experience;
  
• A proven track record in managing, co-ordinating and motivating a large diverse team
  
• Strong planning and organisational skills, combined with the ability to view the business strategically;
  
• Excellent communication and networking capabilities to maintain and develop customers;
  
• Commercial acumen, results driven with the ability to maximise profit.
