Senior Mechanical Engineer - Building Services

Our client is one of Australia’s leading multidisciplinary consultancies is seeking to recruit a Senior Mechanical Engineer for their Canberra office.

Reporting to the Branch Manager your main responsibilities for this role will be:
• To lead and manage a team of Engineers / Drafters through a range of high value projects including new build and refurbishments.
• Working to energy rating standards you will have full project management responsibility covering areas such as feasibility & viability assessments, budget cost estimation, client liaison, finance control and business development.
• From a design perspective you will have a responsibility for all aspects and concepts of mechanical design.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that your team’s designs meet and exceed standards of excellence already in place within the company.

Candidates will have previous consulting experience in Mechanical Design coupled with experience at a senior level. It is preferred for candidates to have experience working on a wide variety of high value projects along with the ability to manage and lead an already successful team of Engineers / Drafters.
