Our client is a well respected local Chartered Firm with a focus on medium to large enterprise in the Canberra market. We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Accountant to join a dynamic team to provide financial business and taxation solutions.
The Role
Working closely with a select group of clients, you will be required to provide expert advice on a variety of financial business matters that will either assist the business to grow or solidify their current situation. Some of the key areas of advice that you will be required to work on include:
- Tax returns
- Compliance
- Preparation of Financial Statements
- BAS preparation and lodgement
- Cash flow Strategies and Management
- Budget Preparation
- Business Valuations
- Due Diligence on Buying/Selling
- Investigating Varied Taxation Options
- Identifying business performance issues and providing remedies
Required:
In this role you will be required to continually display a high degree of professionalism and energy. To be considered further for this position you will need to possess the following key skills and competencies:
- 2 - 5 years chartered accounting experience
- CA qualifications or partial completion preferred
- Excellent communications skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Enthusiasm to deliver a quality product/service
