EL1 Senior Procurement Officer

This federal government department has gone through recent change and created a new section which is responsible for providing procurement and probity advice across the department.

Your position will be responsible for assisting officers within the department who are involved in procurement activities, developing and maintaining procurement processes, templates, and guidance material, training in procurement, and meeting the procurement recording and reporting responsibilities of the agency under the Commonwealth financial framework.

Other responsibilities include the development and provision of operational procurement training to staff, records management and supervision of staff.

The department offers diverse and interesting work in a supportive and friendly environment. The successful candidate will provide operational procurement and probity advice as well as reviewing and drafting standard operating procedures and the development of procurement documentation and guidelines.
