Manager, Financial Operations

This leading Canberra hospital is a key player in the health and well-being of Canberra’s population.

In this newly created position, you will provide high-level support to the Chief Financial Officer, and Service Delivery Directors, through the effective management of the financial services function.

While managing the monthly management and annual statutory financial reporting and the day to day accounting function, you will also contribute at the highest level providing effective advice, systems and processes to support the organisation’s key goals and objectives. You will also play a key role in overseeing the hospital’s financial applications.

You will have extensive experience in a financial management role and demonstrate strong leadership, strategic thinking and communication skills. You will also have the ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Experience within the health sector will be desirable but not essential.

Working in an environment of change, you will have the opportunity to work closely with senior management to drive change and improve the financial management and performance of the hospital. An attractive package to $125,000 is available for the successful candidate.
